Editing runs in your browser
The official web build is a static WebAssembly application. The host delivers program files, and editing runs on the visitor's device. Open uses a browser file picker; Save and Export create downloads.
This host does not configure an account system, cloud document storage or a paid AI API. Documents are not uploaded here for processing. See privacy and local storage for hosting request data.
Preferences are separate from documents
The app uses browser localStorage for preferences, not for document backups. Another profile, private session or storage-clearing operation may reset those preferences.
The original stays where you selected it from. An output goes to the location chosen by the browser. Find the actual downloaded file before assuming an edit is preserved.
Build a local saving habit
- Keep the original untouched.
- Download a document copy during a long session.
- Export a flattened image when you need a finished visual.
- Reopen the output to check its contents.
- Make your own backup before closing or refreshing.
The web build has no automatic autosave, cloud backup or crash recovery. The wrapper's reminder is conservative and cannot certify that every edit has been saved.
Based on the official web hosting guide and v0.7.0 source documentation. Independent guidance; keep original files and verify your outputs.
